Ecology~Art~Poetry Workshop 12 February

In preparation for Corinbank, poets and artists are invited to a creative workshop at 1-4pm on Sunday 12 February at 41 Piddington Street, Watson organised by our friends at the Australian Poetry Ltd.

Here’s what they have to say:

We aim to create poetry and art acutely conscious of ourselves in the

Treehouse by Paul Summerfield

environment.  Writers will write poetry inspired by art. Artists will create art inspired by poetry.  We will spark off each other’s art form and imagine a better world.

Admission $20. Admission free for members of Australian Poetry Ltd and Corinbank participants.

To register email hal@australianpoetry.org.  The workshop will be facilitated by Dr Sarah Rice (poet/art theorist), Hal Judge (ACT Coordinator of Australian Poetry Ltd) and Paul Summerfield (eco-artist).

This workshop is brought to you by Australian Poetry Ltd (the new national poetry organisation) to make art which will be displayed at the Corinbank Music and Arts Festival.

There will be a similar workshop at Corinbank from 11am-1pm on Saturday 3 March.
