Volunteer Roles | Before the Festival
Volunteer roles before the festival are a mix of physical and intellectual effort. There is a huge amount of work to be done. Most volunteers who contribute before the festival also put in their full, and often more than full, festival time commitment of 15 hours. For those who would rather work hard now and simply relax and enjoy the festival there are options for getting a free ticket if you work an agreed number of hours before the festival.
CorinGym: CorinGym happens about every second weekend in the months prior to the festival. It involves heading up to the festival site at Corin Forest Mountain Resort and working hard to prepare the site for the festival. CorinGym members usually camp Saturday night on site and stay for the regular BBQ and party.
Bump-in: Bump-in occurs in the week before the start of the festival and is an extension of CorinGym. It’s when the last minute touches are put in place before the patrons, artists, volunteers and other participants arrive and the fun begins.
