Terms and Conditions

  • TICKET HOLDERS MUST PRODUCE VALID PROOF-OF-AGE AT THE EVENT ENTRY. Anyone unable to provide valid proof of age at the festival entrance may be refused entry.
  • Corinbank (also referred to as ‘the festival’) is presented by Corinbank Festival (also referred to as ‘the organisers’). Corinbank takes place at Corin Forest (also referred to as ‘the venue’).
  • Corinbank Festival reserves the right to change the Corinbank line-up, date or venue without prior notification. The festival will be staged rain, hail or shine. No refunds will be available in the event of a change of date, line-up, relocation, poor weather, or if Corinbank does not meet your expectations. Refunds are only available if Corinbank is cancelled entirely. Corinbank Festival is not liable for any damage, compensation, loss or expenses as a result of Corinbank being cancelled, postponed, relocated or changed.
  • Tickets will not be replaced under any circumstances. This includes lost, stolen or damaged tickets. A change in the personal circumstances of the ticket holder does not entitle the return or exchange of the ticket.
  • Children under 16 are free if accompanied by a responsible adult. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a ticket-holding parent or legal guardian at all times.
  • Event gates close between 10pm Friday 2 March and 9am on Saturday 3 March, and between 10pm Saturday 3 March and 9am on Sunday March 4, 2012.
  • Upon entry to Corinbank, valid ticket holders will be given a 2012 Corinbank Wristband. Wristbands that are removed or tampered with will be rendered invalid. Patrons with tampered wristbands will be removed from the festival. Lost or missing wristbands will not be replaced.
  • You are warned, acknowledge and accept that Corin Forest is an inherently dangerous place that contains obstacles, risks and dangers, natural and man made, which may result in loss or damage to your property, personal injury or even death. If you choose to come onto Corin Forest, you do so at your own risk and to the extent permitted by law, you release and indemnify Corinbank Festival and Corin Forest (and its officers, employees, agents and contractors) from and against any claim or liability of any nature in relation to injury or death, from you or any third party which might arise from entry to, or the use of, the venue by you and any accompanying persons and/or minors regardless of how the damage, injury or death is sustained or caused.
  • Corinbank Festival accepts no liability whatsoever arising from activities, including, but not limited to: water sliding, bush walking, yoga, mountain biking, hosting or engaging in creative camping, workshops, tall bike jousting, freak-bike riding and activities provided by Corin Forest. People availing themselves of such activities do so at their own risk and in accordance with the terms and conditions of Corin Forest. Water sliding is only permitted whilst the water slide is operating and a staff member is present.
  • Corinbank is a licensed event. No BYO alcohol is allowed. No glass containers are allowed. Identification is required to buy and consume alcohol. Purchasing alcohol for a minor is illegal. People who are deemed to be intoxicated will not be served. Underage drinkers, excessive drinkers, illegal drug users or patrons displaying antisocial behaviour may be removed or be dealt with by police. Uniform and undercover police as well as private security guards will be in attendance.
  • Alcohol may only be consumed within licensed areas.
  • Smoking is not permitted inside any public tents or structures.
  • The following items cannot be brought to Corin Forest: animals (with the exception of registered guide dogs), alcohol, glass, illicit substances, flares, fireworks, firearms, explosives, BBQs, gas bottles, knives, anything that could be used as a weapon. Ticket holders and their property may be inspected for prohibited items on entry or at any time during the event.
  • Ticket holders found with prohibited items may be refused entry, removed or have those items confiscated.
  • Should you require the services of an ambulance during Corinbank, you accept that you are liable for any costs relating to that service.
  • There are no vehicle pass outs from camping grounds during Corinbank. Cars parked in unauthorised areas may receive a fine and be towed.
  • Tickets only provide access to the areas as indicated by signage at the event. No responsibility is accepted for those that pass Corinbank boundaries.
  • All attendees to Corinbank agree and accept that Corinbank Festival has exclusive occupation and control over all areas (as marked on the Corinbank Festival Program Event Site Map) used in relation to Corinbank. Tickets only provide access to the areas as indicated by the map and signage at the event.  You may not proceed beyond festival boundaries as marked in the Corinbank Festival Program. No responsibility is accepted for those that pass Corinbank boundaries.
  • Unauthorised audio or visual recording of the festival and any activity taking place as part of the festival is strictly prohibited. Personal still-image cameras are permitted but images may only be used for private purposes, not public display.
  • The purchase of a Corinbank ticket and/or attendance at the festival is deemed as consent for inclusion in any official photographic, visual and audio recording of the festival. Corinbank Festival reserves the right to use said recordings, including the image of any individual in attendance, for the promotion of the Corinbank brand without payment to the individual.
  • Patrons must not mosh, crowd surf or stage dive, display antisocial or aggressive behaviour. Offenders may have their wristbands removed and be escorted from the premises.
  • In the event of emergency, assemble at the designated emergency assembly area and listen to instructions.
  • Corinbank cares for the environment. Please be respectful and drive slowly. Place litter in appropriate bins and use public toilets provided. Leave no trace and cause no harm to flora and fauna.
  • If any provision of these terms and conditions is held invalid, unenforceable or illegal for any reason, these terms and conditions will remain otherwise in full force apart from that provision which will be deemed deleted.

Youth tickets policy

Children under the age of 16 can come to the festival for a very cool $5 (+BF)!  However, a responsible adult must accompany them at all times.
